The 300 Club

What It Is
The 300 Club is an unofficial, voluntary-membership Airsoft "club" with no agenda and no official roster. Membership is self-declared and self-regulated.

What the name means
Nothing to do with the movie/graphic novel about the screaming musclemen.

It refers to two things:

• The name is a throwback to the days when stock guns shot about 280 fps. Members of the "300 club" have guns that shoot under 300 fps. By choice. But since nowadays some stock guns can shoot over 300 in practical terms it means "those who choose not to upgrade their guns" (FPS wise, not accessories wise). But the term originates from when TM guns shooting no more than 300 in stock form were the norm.
• It also refers to the fact that members of the 300 club tend to carry (and fire) fewer than 300 rounds in a game.

Could I be a Member?
If your guns all have stock springs, and you consider a bag of BBs to be a LOT of ammo that will last you forever.... then yes!

Why be a member?
Membership is a badge, or way to recognize others like you! You can use the following "badge" in your signature if you like, to indicate your membership in the 300 Club! Think of it as a secret handshake, only not actually very secret.
